Massage Therapy Job Opportunity – Lansdowne, VA

Lansdowne Woods of Virginia Community Association, LLC (LWVA) is currently seeking a licensed massage therapist (or two) to offer his/her massage services to residents of our community.  If you have graduating students that would like to provide their massage services to the residents of our community, please contact me or have them contact me.

LWVA is a prestigious 55 and better condominium community nestled on 44 acres in the heartland of Northern Virginia’s dynamic Loudoun County.  Six active adult (55+) condominium associations comprise the membership at LWVA, for a total of 1,113 units and approximately 2,000 residents.  In addition, members of the Vistas at Lansdowne Homeowners Association, which is directly adjacent to the LWVA property, have the right to use the Clubhouse and common amenities at LWVA.  There are 120 homes in the Vistas.  The recently renovated LWVA Clubhouse offers over 45,000 square feet of amenity-rich space with innovative areas dedicated to resident activities.  In short, the Clubhouse is the heart of Lansdowne Woods. The top-quality facilities in our Clubhouse include:

  • Indoor swimming pool and spa with adjoining patio
  • Men’s and Women’s locker rooms with showers and saunas
  • Fully equipped gym
  • Exercise/dance studio and equipment
  • Roof top tennis and pickleball courts
  • Library with books and computers
  • Ceramics studio
  • Art studio
  • Woodworking shop
  • Music studio
  • Billiards room
  • Non-denominational chapel
  • Club and meeting rooms
  • 275-seat auditorium/ballroom with stage
  • Full-service hair salon
  • 75-seat restaurant and bar with indoor and patio seating

In addition to the above referenced spaces, there is a spacious and equipped massage room located in the fitness wing of the Clubhouse.  This is where we would like to invite a licensed massage therapist to provide on-campus massage services to our residents.  This person would work as an independent contractor and schedule their own appointments and collect their own fees.  He/she will pay LWVA a small nominal monthly fee for the use of the space.  The space will be shared with at least one other therapist or service provider, so there will be set days/hours reserved for you and your on-campus clients.  Many residents of LWVA typically like to stay close to home and will utilize on-campus service providers because it is easy and convenient for them.  This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed massage therapist or local massage therapist to supplement their existing massage business by offering on-campus services to LWVA residents.

Thank you,

Audra Wallace, CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM®
