Hot Stone Massage
Course Description
In this class participants will learn how to safely perform a 50 minute hot stone massage. The participants will be introduced to the equipment necessary for a hot stone massage, sanitation products, stones and equipment, proper sanitation of stones and equipment, cautions and contraindications, and basic thermotherapy using heated basalt stones. Each participant will have the opportunity to learn and practice a 50 minute full body hot stone massage. (3 hours of lecture and demo and 3 hours hands on practical exchange)
