Details of Starting Pay: 

At Guided Fitness, you set your own price and packages, we have our recommendations for your success, below are conservative income estimates to expect initially as you grow your clientele: 

  • You create your own prices and packages for sessions. Take home 80% commission. 
  • $25/hr. for company-supported functions in communities

  • 80% commission take-home for private session revenue (ex. if your session rate is $60, you take home $50. Most facilities only pay therapists 50% of the price a client pays) 
  • Increase in commission on revenue 
  • Increase in class pay with tenure 
  • Potential upward mobility into the role with Guided Fitness core team. As we grow we are aiming to promote current trainers and instructors to management roles to lead teams in our various communities across the nation. 

Job Description/Responsibilities: 

The primary responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Instructing, motivating, and assisting clients in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals. 
  • Conducting assessments of clients’ health and needs. 
  • Keeping your Guided Fitness schedule up to date for clients to book sessions directly with you on the site. 
  • Following up with clients with detailed summaries, training plans and/or re-evaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. 
  • Maintaining constant communication with clients to ensure goals are being met. 
  • Partner with the employer to conduct various client engagement and educational activities and events, such as outdoor classes and community activities. 
  • Occasionally reporting various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level. 
  • Participating in program planning and development, as well as design and/or carrying out related research. 
  • Perform all aspects of the position held in a professional manner. 
  • Follow established policies and procedures of the company. 
  • Maintain professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.

Qualifications: 

  • Currently hold industry certification 
  • Professional Liability Insurance (Required Upon Hire) 
  • CPR/AED Certification (Required) 
  • 2 Years of Massage experience 
  • Strong customer service skills were servicing the “client” is top priority 
  • Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals 
  • Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday. Also, the physical requirements of this job require frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting are movements performed daily.
