Experienced Massage Therapist Needed (Part-Time, Thai Style a Plus) – Fairfax, VA
Description:
Join our dedicated team at Surya Acupuncture Center, an acupuncture clinic located in Fairfax, VA. We are seeking a skilled massage therapist, preferably female, to cater to our predominantly female clientele. This part-time/full time position offers a flexible schedule in a supportive and professional environment, specializing in Thai style massage and other techniques. Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays and must speak English or Mandarin Chinese.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality Thai style massage and other massage therapy services to clients.
- Customize treatments based on client needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the treatment area.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with clients to enhance their wellness journey.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a massage therapist; expertise in Thai style massage highly preferred.
- Appropriate certification/licensure as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and sensitivity to client needs.
- Must be able to speak English or Mandarin Chinese.
- Availability to work on Saturday & Friday .
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $40- $60, depending on experience.
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Could be converted to full time employee.
